West Side Story cast to sing national anthem to open new Citifield
Baseball and Musical Theatre - two uniquely American creations - are scheduled for a duet tonight at the opening of Citifield, the new home for the New York Mets.
After raking in some pretty wonderful reviews, the cast of the current Broadway revival of West Side Story will be on hand to sing the national anthem. The Mets are hoping some of the cast's success rubs off on them as they begin their quest for the NL East title. For more on the season opening game and tonight's schedule, click here.
