Seussical - Instrumentation
I would love to know what different instrumentations have been used successfully in Seussical. We are preparing to assemble our ensemble and we don't have a wealth of instrumentalists to draw from. What would you consider the basic ensemble and what would give you the best bang for your buck after that basic group? I would appreciate any information and advice!-Greg

Where to Start?
My school will be putting on Godspell, Jr. this school year. I usually like to show the students a movie of the production to familiarize them with it. In this case, I think it would do more harm than good. Do you have any suggestions on how to handle this particular play: costumes, set, etc.? The cast will consist of 4th - 8th graders.

Annie JR- HELP!!
We are putting on a production of Annie JR with our 4th and 5th graders. Our school is a Title I school in Georgia. Our funds are extremely limited and parent involvement is scarce. Can anyone help with how to design scenery etc.Many of us have limited expereince with producing a show, but we want to make this great for our kids. Any ideas/links to Annie JR production would be great!!

RENT - HELP - AND IT'S BEGINNING TO SNOW - ?
I AM DIRECTING A COMMUNITY THEATRE PRODUCTION OF RENT IN FEBRUARY AND CXOULD USE SOME HELP. I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE IT SNOW ON STAGE. WE HAVE BAGS AND BAGS OF FAKE SNOW AVAILABLE I JUST HAVE TO GFIGURE OUT HOW TO RIG IT TO FALL EFFECTIVELY AND LOOK REAL WHILE ON STAGE. IT'S ONLY FOR TWO SEPERATE SCENES AND THE SNOW ONLY NEEDS TO FALL FOR ABOUT 2 OR THREE MINUTES. IT'S A VERY WONDERFUL EFFECT AND IT WILL BE VERY EFFECTIVE IF I CAN PULL THIS OFF CORRECTLY. i HAVE CHECKED ABOUT SNOW MACHINES AND THEY ARE TOO BIG AND LOUD AND THEIR IS NO WAY I CAN RIG THE MACHINE TO STAY UP IN THE CURTAINS ABOVE THE STAGE. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW THEY DO THIS EFFECT ON BROADWAY IN RENT? PLEASE HELP ME I WANT TO BECOME MOTHER NATURE. Scaffolding for RENT
I'll be directing Rent in Brooklyn and wanted to know how I go about renting scaffolding for sets. Does anyone have any idea about how a process like that works?
