Chad Beguelin & Matthew Sklar - The Prom

 

Chad Beguelin and Matthew Sklar are nominated for Best Original Score for The Prom, a heartwarming new musical comedy that is nominated for 7 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Beguelin is also nominated for Best Book of a Musical with Bob Martin. Beguelin and Sklar received their first Tony nomination for Best Original Score for The Wedding Singer. Beguelin was also nominated for Best Original Score and Best Book of a Musical for the show, as well as for Disney's Aladdin on Broadway.

Robert Horn - Tootsie

Robert Horn is nominated for Best Book of a Musical for Tootsie. This hilarious new musical is nominated for 11 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. A 20-year veteran of TV and film, Horn has written and produced such series as "Designing Women," "Living Single," "High Society" and "Law Rats".

Bob Martin - The Prom

Bob Martin is nominated for Best Book of a Musical for The Prom with co-author Chad Beguelin. In 2006, Martin won the Tony for his book for The Drowsy Chaperone, in which he also originated the role of Man In Chair on Broadway.

David Yazbek - Tootsie

This Emmy-winning writer and renowned composer received his fiftth Tony nomination for Best Original Score for Tootsie. Yazbek won his first Tony award for The Band's Visit last year.

The Band's Visit
