The TONY® Awards are being presented this Sunday (June, 12) on CBS, and we at MTI want to wish a great big "Break-a-leg" to all our authors and creative professionals who are nominated. We are delighted and honored to call you all part of our family, and you're all winners in our eyes.
Just as a boastful reminder, MTI family members nominated for 2011 TONY® Awards are:
Best Musical
Best Book of a Musical
Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre
Nominated for Best Play is David Lindsay-Abaire's GOOD PEOPLE; Best Direction Of A Musical and Best Choreography nominations go to Susan Stroman; and HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING has been nominated for Best Revival Of A Musical (a category which it won in its last revival on Broadway)
We will be crossing our fingers for everyone nominated and glued excitedly to our television sets Sunday night.
